This policy explains how BAD CURRENCY ("we") collects and uses personal data when you use badcurrency.com. If you have any questions, email support@badcurrency.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your username and a securely hashed version of your password (we never store your actual password).
- Your uploads: the photos and videos you upload, the prompts you write, and the videos we create for you. Photos may show faces, which can be personal data.
- Order details: what you bought, the price, and the payment status. Card payments are handled by Stripe — we never receive or store your full card details.
- Technical data: basic server logs (such as IP address and time of request) used for security and to fix problems.
How we use it
- to create and deliver the videos you order and keep them in your history;
- to take payments and issue refunds;
- to keep the Service secure and prevent misuse;
- to reply when you contact us.
We use your data because we need it to provide the Service you asked for, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure. We do not sell your data and we do not use your photos to train AI models.
Who we share it with
- Higgsfield AI — our AI video provider, which processes your uploads to create your video;
- Stripe — our payment processor;
- our hosting provider, which stores the website and your files.
These providers only process your data to provide their service to us. Some may process data outside your country, with appropriate safeguards in place.
How long we keep it
We keep your account, uploads and videos while your account is active so you can access your history. You can ask us to delete any video or your whole account at any time. Order records may be kept longer where the law requires (for example for tax).
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Email support@badcurrency.com and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The Service is for adults (18+). Don't upload images of children.
